Pioneer Party

Utah's great history brings new traditions in our hood! Last night for Pioneer Day some of my neighbors put together a great party! It started with a parade of children and their decked out bikes. Miles was distracted by the little red race car his friend Blake was driving! The parade ended at our neighbors house where food seemed to grow and grow on the tables. We grilled, played games and even had a raffle. The night was topped off with street fireworks. Stella plugs her ears and ducks away from the flash! The kiddos had a great time and were exhausted! Me too...I spent the day shopping in Park City and then rushed to the party! Thanks to my great friends and neighbors for a fabulous bash. There were around 250 friends and neighbors there to celebrate! And great gratitude to the pioneers who sacrificed and built this great state! We can't wait for next year!Taking pics of Katie taking pics of the fireworks. Nice.
Stella and Brighton decked out in stars and stripes!
Wow, mom look at that race car!
Stella and her buddies Sophie and Ce Ce.
The three legged race. Go Sunny and Mike. Stella even did this one but I missed the Kodak moment.

Love "small town" activities like that. It gives you such a feeling of community and belonging. And looks like a blast too! :)
