The White Christmas We Dreamed Of

How can you capture the magic and joy of Christmas morning?!! The wee ones woke up about 8am and thought it was the middle of the night because it was so dark due to the blizzard outside and the snow covering our windows! Everything was frosted including our wreath! What a beautiful site especially when we can just snuggle inside and enjoy Christmas! We got the tunes going and started diving into the gifts.
The Wii. This was really for Spencer. He loves it! And Stella is a pro bowler..she beats us all. We also got the fitness portion and I am afraid to hear what it has to say about my fitness. It did tell Spencer it was late and maybe they should discuss his sleeping patterns...really! LOL.

OH...Santa remembered to bring my cleaning trolley. It even has a vacuum that works! Sooo lets get cleaning,

and baking.

Stella got lots of fun things to adorn herself with. Including Fancy Nancy dress up and a trunk full of princess treasures. She is a girl that really loves pretend play.

Miles was all about race cars and anything that goes. He really has a one tracked mind....a hotwheels track! This is the cutest race car beenie that has a shirt to match from Gymboree, I mean the North Pole.

Hotwheels, Hotwheels, Hotwheels...its a dream come true.

Miles and his jeep tracks. He spent hours and hours playing with all his stuff on Christmas since we were snowed in most of the day.

Brighton loved his new Leap Frog Train.

Capturing the joys of a child on Christmas morning....priceless.

I got a pair of these accent chairs for Christmas! Also some stuff for my camera. Furniture is my favorite kind of gift!

Stella and (naked)Brighton sharing a moment as they read a new Christmas book in their new Christmas sled.

Christmas morning fixings. Eggs(with feta, tomatoes, and basil), hash browns, vege-sausage, Cinnamon rolls, wassail, and hot chocolate. So very tasty.

A family tradition to play in the snow on Christmas Day! Daddy made Stella a tunnel,

And being the talented sculptor that he is...made it into a face. Stella is being eaten by this snow monster.

After all our festivities at home we headed to my parents for Christmas dinner. We packed a bag and spent the night! It was a great end to a truly magical day!
