We have had many Christmas encounters including ones directly from the North Pole.
Here we are all dressed up in our Christmas garb ready for a spiritual encounter.
My neighbor recommended we visit Santa's reindeer and in fact they were elk (ha ha). Oh well the kids thought we had special privileges to visit Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and the whole lot before the big night!
Stella and I had a wonderful girls night out with my sister,and my parents. My niece was one of the party girls in the ballet. This has become a favorite tradition for the past three years. We had a very close encounter with the magical nutcracker.

Making gingerbread homes, games, and treats make for a great class party in Mrs. Hansen's first grade.
And finally we have had an encounter with one of Santa's elves, Buddy! He has been sneaking around our house this last week before Christmas. Leaving treats and little gifts for good boys and girls that do nice things for others. This magical creature is a favorite and will be leaving Christmas Eve to help Santa Claus.
