Swim Lessons are in full swing this summer even if Stella is still in school. They have a great teacher that really cares if they swim. It is at the home of Miles' preschool teacher. Her husband and daughter teach the classes.
This year Stella swam with the BIG kids. She is my fish. Stella is so kind and a little quiet. She will bat those big blue eyes at you but if you get her in a competitive situation her fire shows bright and clear. I was laughing out loud as she flew across the length of the pool in perfect form, looking up every now and then to make sure she was still ahead of the three boys in her group! Even her teacher was entertained by this. Maybe she is destined for the swim team.
Miles had a crush on Miss Amee's daughter Emily, one of the swim instructors. I had to remind him not to cling to her and splash the cute girl. I could tell she loved him right back. He was swimming great and shows no fear of the water. It makes me happy that he can at least get to the side of the pool and pull himself out.
I am glad they have a great park area and bikes to ride so that Brighton was entertained through two lessons. He was up and down the slide, round and round on the tire swing and trying really hard to be kind and make friends on the playground. He was also grateful for the snack shop Miss Amee's kids set up. They were making a killing on those treats!
