We have wanted to take our children on this very popular hike to Timpanogas Cave for several years. And this fall they were all old enough to survive the hike and cave tour. I have not been their since I was 16 years old. Such a cool experience to share with my three kids. They love science and Spencer always makes it very interesting for them. Our tour guide was a character and full of good information. She was passionate about the cave and we loved her descriptions of many of the rock formations. Carmel falls was on of the highlights. The cave was first discovered in 1887. That would have been quite the hike up those steep cliffs back then. But we were grateful at least some of it was preserved for our education and entertainment.
