We are so grateful that my parents plan these trips that bring us all together. Some Highlights from our trip to Avon, Colorado were hiking, yummy gelato,the children's museum, and bungee trampoline at Beaver Creek Resort. We spent a lot of time there playing around. At three pm a resort employee brings fresh cookies on the plaza year round. Our timing was always off and we didn't get to enjoy this luxury but wouldn't that be a treat after a long ski or hike day. We were starting to believe it was a rumor. We also went floating down the river near our condo. This brought back so many memories of floating the river at my family's cabin. We also rented paddle boats and paddle boards on the lake in Aspen. We all LOVED the paddle board. Stella was estactic, really it was quite thrilling for her. Stella and I joined the Morgans for her first rodeo. It was entertaining and my nephew did some mutton busting. I am not much of a rodeo queen. But I can enjoy a rodeo on occasion especially on a very western vacation. We did some biking on a few of the days and swam everyday. The kids wanted to hang in the recreation room every night and after we tucked them in, they stayed behind with Grandma while we went to the hot tub on the roof. It was such an enjoyable trip to end summer and kick off a new school year!
