What determines how brilliant the colors will be in the fall? I ask this question every year. So here is the big answer....A warm wet spring, favorable summer weather, and warm sunny fall days with cool nights should produce the most brilliant autumn colors. All of the above factors were in play this year because the colors are most BRILLIANT. We have traveled several mountain roads and trails enjoying the beauty. Every fall that I can remember my mom and I would take a drive through the canyon collecting leaves to display at home. We often stopped at Sundance Resort for lunch at the grill. A tradition I am happy to pass on to my offspring!
